Gymnastics

Gymnastics has a prolonged and colorful heritage. The first gymnastics were circus-like acrobatics performed in ancient Egypt. The imaginative art of bull leaping was developed in the 2nd century B.C. The performer works towards a charging bull, grabs its horns even though being tossed in to the air(by the bull), he displays unique mid weather stunts before landing on the bull's backside. The historical Greeks developed 3 distinctive programs of gymnastics training: one for the maintenance of great physical condition, one for military training and the 3rd as a conditioning for sports athletes regimen. The Greeks developed gymnastics in the 8th century B.C. for they believed unity off your body and mind could possibly be realized through participation in physical exercises. They also realized that gymnastics could change the strength and condition of the human body. The Greeks and Romans specifically set high store by physical culture however when their empires passed on, so did gymnastics in the proper execution in which it had been practiced. It had been up to acrobats and dancers for most successive centuries to execute movements similar for some parts of the activity as it is well known today. Tumbling, for example, has passed on the age range as an entertainment.
